I love my right side solo. I just have it straped to the strut, didnt bother with the caliper and it ride just fine loaded or empty. It has gotten kinda floppy over time but that is gonna be the case with any solo bag that doesnt have a frame.

Got My Bags Today!
My bags came today; ordered 4/25. Got the DL01BL & DR01BL with the quick release and extra inch for my FXDC. Heading out for the weekend so won't get to put them on until Monday or Tuesday.

I have to be honest, as much as everyone here has raved about the customer service, I am hugely disappointed. It took him over 2 days to respond to my email with some simple questions.
But based on what I see here about the quality, I ordered them on Tuesday. But I still haven't heard anything from them! I sure hope the quality is better than the service.

You will not hear anything from him. After placing my order I did not hear anything until I received a shipping notification through PayPal 10 days later. I received no order confirmation or anything, just a PayPal receipt.
If I hadn't ordered these on the recommendation of others here I would have been freaking out after a day or two with no order confirmation.

I received my bags on the day promised, Greg is super busy as these things are taking off. I ordered the extra inch of width so i could keep an extra gallon of gas, oil and tools with me. All that fits in 1 bag and i keep all of my riding junk in the other.

I got to say he did a great job with mine too...went with his big bag...
He had it to me in 9 days. This is with the extra 1" width and quick releases too. Couldn't be happier with it. Put a 12 pack of soda in it the other day along with a few other things and it held them just fine.
Oh, and no problem with his service. He was very good to respond to questions within a day for me but I know he was starting to get busy. May be a one man operation.
