My Graduation Present
So 14 years after high school, and 10 years after getting out of the Navy, I will finally be getting my BBA at the end of this month. Working full time and going to school full time is no joke, so I decided to reward myself with a 2006 Wide Glide - My first Harley.
She has 14,000 miles on the clock, and I paid just shy of $9k, but she is in real good shape. One of the local dealers had a complete service history; the IPB issue was resolved with the "full Monty" repair, there are no stator or rotor issues in her history, and she has a number of Screaming Eagle "upgrades".
I am only 5'8" with a 29" inseam, so I'm thinking of getting these heel rests from Harley. I like this option because it lets me keep the matching pegs and grips, but I am open to suggestions. A search on this topic turned up the mini floor board idea, so I may try that too.
Any other suggestions on what my Wide Glide needs?
