Another Exhaust Leak Question

I just installed V&H BigShot staggered on my 2000 lowrider. They sound great but occasionally on heavy accel it will pop on decel. It seems fine on light to mmoderate acceleration, no pop. Could this be an exhaust leak? I thought if it were an exhaust leak it would due it more consistently. I did by the way change out the gaskets. I used a new set of the stock gaskets. I have the se flat ones if it turns out to be a leak, but would rather not if I don't have to. . While checking things out. I leaned it out a bit by pulling the enricher out and it seemd to not dO IT.ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

It could be an exhaust leak but it could also be that you need some tuning since you just put on a new exhaust system.

Now that the bike has heated up and cooled, check the torque on the exhaust flange nuts, make sure they are tight.
When you pulled the choke you were actually making it richer, not leaner.
Anytime you go from heavy accel to decel quickly, especially if you don't let off the throttle all the way you may get some popping. Next time trying closing the throttle 100% and see if it still pops.

So if it is just a slight/intermittent pop on decel is there any harm to the bike?

Without actually hearing it can't say for sure, but if it is slight, and not all the time, most likely not harmful.

Not at all I had a slight decel on my 100 S&S motor running short dual pipes like your V&H and it really depends if you just want to get it tuned out I do all my work but for that I took it to a carb genius and he tuned it out for me cause it just bothered me although at night the flames on the decel pop looked cool.. Remember when you get decel pop your running rich its to much fuel so like ^^ was said try leaning her out some more if it bothers you that much have it tuned out you may need to go to a bigger or smaller jet I am not sure what your running...
