No matter what map I used I always have bad decel popping. I emailed Jamie and after a few emails this is what he said about Harleys and resetting the throttle position.
FuelMoto response:
Hello, you cannot reset the throttle position with the 9V adapter. The bike must to be running and communicating with USB software. You have to have the bike running to take an active TPS reading. When you reset this you will see "0" % throttle at idle and "100" % throttle at wide open throttle.
and another response.
Hello, yes the video is a few years old and only works on bikes that the EFI stays powered up when the key is on. The HD models cycle then shut down until started
Mike I got almost the exact setup as you and used Jamies map with not one issue. I suspect you have something else going on. I am using the SE Backing Plate with K&N open filter, but I dont see hwo that would be too much of a difference. Is it possible the PCIII is not working properly?

I recently bought and installed a PC from Fuelmoto. It ran ok but I decided to have it dynoed.
The map looks completely different now.
Try going to +10 in the fuel table all the way down in the 0 throttle position.
Also go to +5 in the ignition table all the way down in the 0 throttle position.
First I'll try resetting the throttle position with the bike warmed up as per Jamie, this way if I have a problem still we'll take it from there. Maybe reset the PC3 then try again.
Jamie is very interested in helping me out per his email. Wish it was summer and FuelMoto was in the area.
This week I have the flu so I can't do it and if I try and the company security dudes come calling and see me out riding I'ld be out of a job.
Right now in the ignition table I have a value of +4 in the 100% throttle position.
This is why I asked for riders to send me their maps so I could compare mine with them and check the difference.
I don't have time this weekend to double check the map but Monday is supposed to be nice so after I get home I'll hook up the laptop and check things out.
I went for a putt to heat the bike up then reset the throttle position and it still had mild popping so I did what nvsteve advised and put all 10's in the zero throttle position of the fuel table and all 5's in the zero throttle position of ignition table. No popping whatsoever. Now I have to check my mpg's when I get a chance. I still want to get it dynoed but I might have to wait for spring.
