The standard baffle is loud, then there is one thats quiet and lastly the open one which is for built motors.

I have that standard, which they call "Louvered."

Awesome pipe, great power, and awesome sound.

Go with the Louvered. You will love it.

I got my pipe from Dr. V-Twin. Great price!

The so-called "quiet baffle on mine. At idle and lo throttle, it is a lo-menace rumble, not at all threatening to most any LEO or noise sensitive community... open the throttle more than about 1/4 and you get an authorative deep rumbling Harley roar. Been on mine since day one and very satisfied with it.

I like mine. I would prefer a shorter pipe though. Something that does not stick out past the swingarm.

Quiet Baffle here and its perfect for me. Nice idle and when you get on her she has a nice deep rumble. Back when I put the FAT CAT on I also did the Andrews Power Pulley.......we are talking serious low end torque without going to the 103 kit or Cams......I've got 5k miles on the D&D and Power Pulley Combo and its truly amazing how quickly the Tach jumps right up there!!!!!! There are lots of ways to get that Smile ON....And I'm always SMILIN'

Happy Trails,

GARY

Standard baffle in my hopped up 103". Others say it is f'in loud, I seem to think it is just fine. I actually feel that my wife's 883N with sideshots is louder. Anyways, when warm, the Fatcat on my setup has a nice idle rumble, and roars when you let 'er rip; fantastic in underpasses and parking garages!

One note when installing, be sure to re-torque ALL of the bolts after a few good rides -- I found my tail section to be a bit loose...which would explain the rattling! Oopsies.

I also used OEM-style header gaskets; had leaking issues with the SE gaskets and other exhaust systems so I just grabbed some spares from my tool chest.
