I have had the quiet, standard and perf baffel in the last 4 bikes, I prefer the quiet, lots of dyno evidence that suggests the quiet gives better tq numbers than the others, this is my personal observation, not much but a little. Oh and the quiet aint so quiet.
This morning I went down to the indy and one of his employees has a d&d fat cat on his softail with the quiet baffle and had him start it up and take it up the road and WOW, not so quiet! So I decided to pull the trigger on it this morning. So right now as of 6 P.M ETD , the bike is on the jack with the old exhaust taken off. so after work im going to pick it up and by by 7 PM tomorrow night it will be on the bike. Then i'll post some pics
Just to put in my two cents for future searches, since you've already made your decision.
I've got the Quiet Baffle. And personally I think it's too quiet. Even with the big bore and cams I wish it had a bit more rasp and crackle. It currently sounds too civilized.
Don't get me wrong, it is loud and deep, but it's all low-end sounds.
If I had to do it over again I'd go with the standard baffle to get back some of the upper frequency rasp and crackle.
