6 of us are going so far. I've never been up that way at all. We got cottages near East Andover. I expected Laconia to be packed but we are planning on mostly riding away from town. I've been reading about the rain too.
ill be there sunday till wednesday, best time to go, smallest crowd. Swing by the NASWA, me and my friends will be there with more food than we know what to do with
Group of 4 heading there Wed 15th to Sun. Staying in cottages on Lake Winnisquam. Never been there before so looking forward to some ride favorites - Mt Washington, Kank Hwy. Sounds like Bear Notch Rd is a nice little ride. Been making some gpx files to plug into the gps.
All those rides you mentioned are great. Mt wash auto road is Fun and their is always a professional bike photographer that captures some cool action pictures of you going up the auto road.
From my previous post, I was heading up to Laconia in June and been reading some great threads about NH roads. Going up on Wed and returning back to NJ on Sun, really leaves only (3) days for quality NH rides. I have been mapping some back roads from Laconia to Kancamangus Hwy and northwards. There were a couple roads which I could not tell if they were MC drivable and looking to see if someone on this thread (maybe with local knowledge) would know if they were ok to ride on. They were: Sandwich Notch Road and Pinkham B/Dolly Copp Road. They look like they would be fun if passable.
i would try and hit the hurricane mtn road in n. conway along with the white mtn section of rt 113 that puts you in gorham NH.....awesome very technical ride if that's what your into
