Good work man! I remember your other posts on the process. This process is not for the someone who won't commit to it. It's real work on some parts. Nice!

#1 steel wool pads work on stock chrome pretty well.

MOst after market chrome parts have 40 to 60 microns of chrome, Harley chrome is 100 micron thick ! good stuff....

the scotch brite work looks great. I did that with most of my chrome stuff(bolts and a few trim Items).

Dtone I haven't used steel wool yet. I'm afraid it will look like a bunch of random scratches but I have some take of chrome stuff I'll try it out on.

Keith if you look at the threads I started on my profile most of the threads with pics have someone asking me how I did it. It's a pain to do links from my phone.
