hey people
new ownere here and excited but i have some minor ????and not sure what to do.
1) i have a 2001 fxdwg2cvo switchblade i want to add a low profile w/shield to it.The 06/07 accesories catalog doesnt show one for this bike.I went to my local dealer hes never seen one in these parts i said what the FFFFFF??anyway does anyone have one of these with a w/shiled.Do to it having what i call a painted shroud around the headlight thats the problem aledegly.
2) im trying to put the original bike cover on and its on but looks stupid i have the shiled to the front and names to side .Am i supposes to lock the front end in a straing position or leave it angled
3)how do i tell what number my bike was out of the 1435 that were made that year

Can only help you with #2.......

Angled seems to work best on my FXD.

I have an 03 switchblade (blue) you can trim the bottom of the windshield to match the curve of the headlight cover.
Or you can take the headlight cover off and save it. The attached pic was posted on the CVO owners forum (different site)

I think Memphis Shades short shields to color match look better
