What Helmet Do You Wear?

I have a Bell 500 and the Bell Vortex. I am wearing the Vortex more often now because of that chance of a crash... Very happy with both lids. Here is the Vortex, mine is solid black w/reflective lens.

If I have to wear a helmet, I'll put my bell 500 3/4 helmet that I had custom painted on. It gives that retro look and you here your ipod better for long rides. For the bug eating issue, or cold issue, I just put a bandana over my face and keep going
I wear an AFX-FX90 FF. If I can ever come up with the cash I'll be getting a Roof Boxer V8.

I have a HJC Full Face and a half helmet. I only wore the half when I was riding with a group. Nobody could hear me talking at intersections if I had the full face on. Then I realized I'm not that interesting and nobody needs to hear me that bad. Now I wear the full face all the time.

I have a HJC Full Face and a half helmet. I only wore the half when I was riding with a group. Nobody could hear me talking at intersections if I had the full face on. Then I realized I'm not that interesting and nobody needs to hear me that bad. Now I wear the full face all the time.
I was wearing my FF at a stop light Sunday and a guy in a pickup next to me was asking about my bike. He could hear me fine (and he was an old fart, too). I would guess that the hearing problem is more related to loud pipes than a FF lid, so long as you had your shield up, anyway.
