Looks like Im getting a FF soon then. Thanks guys for assuring me more HD riders use FF than I thought. I will keep my 1/2 lid for around town or real hot days. I do have a 20 mile highway ride into "the big city" for work up here in MN. Thanks again guys for all the tips and ideas!
i wear a full face Arai, course i used to ride rockets, my wife says i need to get a black helmet for the harley.i won t though, i`ll wear whats comfortable for me. i could wear my arai mx helmet with goggles, that would really entertain the hardcore harley boys lol
FF aren't for "rocket riders" or "d bags" or whatever you want to call them. Never understood why some guys are so insecure as to worry about what people will think about their protective gear.
I wear a Shoei X-11 most of the time. I don't think anyone is mistaking me for a rocket rider when I do. When it's a short ride or especially nice day and I want the wind in my face I take the risk with a half helmet or no helmet.

But most accidents happen on short rides near home! lol Just busting!
I never wear unless I am in a state that makes me, which I try to avoid at all costs. I have some kind of DOT approved half helmet for such occasions. I also have a very nice Fulmer FF which I only rarely use on winter rides, toys runs, 1-2 times a year.
I always wear ff - ever since afew years ago when the wiper blade came off a car travelling (sorry, we Brits spell that with 2 'L's) in the opposite direction. It got me right in the face. If I'd not had the ff on and the visor down I'd have most certainly been speared thro' my eye!
This is what I wear on the bike these days and I really don't give flying toss what anybody thinks about me wearing a ff on a HD.
