I am in the Market for some forward controls for my 2010 Street Bob. My first mod, I always said, was going to be some new pipes, but my choice, Rinehart Crossbacks, require me to have forward controls :/. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am in somewhat of a budget, but will take in consideration any advice! These seem cheap, but don't know how credible the company is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=140542671106
I have never had any dealings with the seller however if you do a search on here there are alot of threads on American Classic Motors. As with everything else, some good some bad. Just FYI.
Are the HD forwards too expensive for your wallet? You can usually find them on ebay for around $300 and they are very easy to install.
HD everything is too expensive for my wallet lol. No but in all seriousness, I am looking for the "best bang for your buck" or Cheap+Reliable. I will probably upgrade later, but I found the Rinehart Cross Backs at a GOOD price and jumped on them quickly, so I don't want to have them laying around until I save enough to dish out for expensive Forward Controls.
I got my Kury's from Dennis Kirk a forum sponsor for $299 incl shipping.
That is a GREAT price for Kury's, must have been a one time sale! I have had some of the best buys ever from Dennis Kirk, when they have a sale it can be a good one. I bought my Bub 7 2 into 1's for $192 shipped!
I bought my Kury extended forwards from West End Motorsports for $342 w/shipping last year. They are nice looking and a breeze to install.
Thanx for the help guys, but it turns out I can wait on the forward controls. I THOUGH I had purchased a pair of Rinehart Cross backs at JC motors that had been reduced from nearly $900 down to $390, but it turns out that the receipt and registration was useless as I recently found out that they are discontinued and I will not be getting my pair
