Until I figure out what I want to do on the pipe front I decided to install a set of the Python Mambas on my Wide Glide to give me a little more sound but retain the stock look (or as close as possible) of the OEM slip ons.
Eventually I'll probably go with the V&H Big Shots, Stage 1 and tuner but for now the Mambas are going to have to get me by.
Installation was fairly easy. It took me forever to get the original muffler clamps on the Mambas but other than that it was straight forward and took about an hour and a half.

As you can see they don't look all that different from the stock mufflers. They're a little shorter and narrower but not by much. I'll take it for a test ride in an hour or so and report back but so far I'm happy with the sound. It now has a nice bark both at idle and when I rev it. I'm curious to hear how it sounds on the road and at speed.
