just gotta thundermax question when running the iac auto which is step 10 my engine speed stayed in the red the whole time and my iac position stayed in the yellow.just took it for a spin and the engines hotter than it was before and im getting decel popping i installed a d&d fatcat and i alredy had the hd stageone airfilter should i give it a few rides to adjust or reload the thundermax again ?am i damaging my engine with it being so hot
sounds like the first time i ran my iac, make sure you're starting with a map close to your mods. i have a similar set up, looking at the latest maps i think you need to start with map 762. once you have the right map loaded and run a successful iac, you should be up and running and it should definitely be running better than you described. take it out for a ride i think a good first run should be an hour at the least. come home, plug in and save the learned map.
enjoy, every ride from here on out will be better than the last.
so i still have to plug in again even if i did iac auto? does any 1 know if changing my air cleaner will help out?i only rode for about an hour to work
also i know you can change decel to 1 to stop decel popping but does it rob power from the bike doing this.if not does the autotune auto correct it over time

The first thing you need to do is make sure you're running the right map. There are several maps designed for D&D Fat Cat, but you need to pick the one that matches the rest of the equipment you're currently running. The IAC adjust is not something that you should need to do right away. If you have the right map, it should idle OK and the IAC can wait until after you have a few miles on it.

yeah i did that maybe i just need to ride it more im thinking
go back and verify that all the steps were followed. Mine started up with no problems. Did you enter a # in the override AFR box? Did you do the ON 30 secs- OFF 30 secs THREE times?
You either have the wrong initial map or you missed a step in the set up, you should not have those issues. Are the O2 sensors connected to the correct leads?
Did you initialize the unit?
I'm running map 762 it seemed to cool down now that I started and shut it off and made a few quick trips I still get some decel popping at certin speed I just used t-max auto support hopefully some one from the company gets back to me
