The last time I was on my bike was October I was just home for 4 days and the weather was crappy, my bike is finally ready to ride again I just need to get home again
5 straight days of riding with the wife.
Started off Friday after work...came home, she was ready..hopped on...off to a local bike bar...and then off to the next town to a cool place on the river called Hot Rods...for dinner. Took a long route home.
Saturday...rode inland in Connecticut...kind of a good loop around the southeast quarter of CT.
Sunday...there's a well known bike run called Pappy's Run, met a bunch of friends on their bikes and basically everyone goes bar hopping after the run. The group I hung with didn't get too much out of control, worked hard at holding back on the drinks to stay safe..and did so.
Monday, short ride w/wife
Today...I took the bike to work...did some onsites, got home from work..took off with wife again for a good ride and ate out.
Yup...packed on a few miles. Great to finally have some great summer weather.
Put on about 550 miles here, Went down in Tenn Sat. then went into West Virginia Sunday, then just did some local riding Monday, was a really good weekend to ride here.
Chicago, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis (slept at my sisters), Louisville, Lexington (slept), Nashville (slept), back to Indianapolis and then Chicago.
About 1,200 miles in 4 days. Not bad. My detachable HD Tour Pak saved my back and neck a ton of fatigue I would have had otherwise. Any longer of a trip and I'd want a fairing or windshield.
A 300 mile ride one way to Pryor, Oklahoma with tent, luggage, air mattress and lawn chair strapped to the back and a 12 pack in each saddle bag with ice. Partied it up! Rocklahoma concert. Three days of camping, rock music and women in bikini tops, short shorts and cowboy boots.
Oh yeah, also saw Poison, Motley Crue, Papa Roach, Seether, Texas Hippie Coalition, Whitesnake, Staind, Skillet, Hinder, Drowning Pool, Sebastian Bach, Saving Able and a bunch more.
The stripper pole at a guys campsite was an awesome party and then there was the mobile stripper pole in the back of a truck that had another campground party on the other side of the campgrounds with live bands... Just an awesome, fun rock festival party time.
Then, 300 mile ride back home in "Wind Advisory" weather with a giant sail of gear on the back of the bike. That was a rough ride and was pissing me off. I was getting my *** kicked for five hours on that ride. Great adventure!!

Did you camp there? Did I see you? I don't think I did. I would have talked bikes. Lots of other riders out there... well, more than I expected on the gravel campground roads.
