I have a question in regards to NOT removing the primary cover. How did you get the washer out if you just cut and pulled the rod through? In you video it shows a washer between the inner primary and the clutch assembly. Thanks!

My 2014 SB had no such washer. I cut the rod and slid it right on out. Didn't remove primary at all.
Dont cut anything. If you ever want convert back or sell, no turning back. I have a 17 FXDL, removed mids and installed full boards. I tied my shifter shaft back with a tie wrap, makes shaft flush, I put a poker chip over the spot.
