I have an 01 Dyna and I'm not sure if my rear shocks can be adjusted for preload. All I see is a chrome sleeve on the bottom of shock with a row of holes around the bottom. How do I adjust and how will I know if they are the same? Thanks for any comments.
Jim
P.S. the owners manual talks like they are adjustable, but not how.
you need something like this (what mine looks like) I got mine at harley shop http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Shock...item20b5195353
You turn them all the way to the bottom they have 5 adjustments (I think) move both up the same amount
Doubt this will help but... you cant go from 1 directly to 5 but you can go from 5 directly to 1, and it is very noticeable when that happens(loud clunk)
