Default Help clutch problems

I have a 97 dyna superglide which i put an ultima 100 cubic inch motor on 2 yrs ago everything was working fine until my float got stuck on the carb filling the motor with fuel. After fixing this problem i went to take it out for a ride and now my clutch will not pull at all. Today i took it off the bike to check everything out and all seems good. Tried pulling the cable and it went back and forth so i thought maybe it juat got jammed put it all back together and the same problem still exist it will not pull at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the ramp ***** behind the right side cover on the transmission. Also something else in there could be locking up the cable.

You need to do this first before adjusting the clutch.

i have checked the ***** and ramp and they seemed to work like they are supposed to pulled it all apart put it back together and still nothing. the cable seemed to move back and forth but now i'm wondering if all that was moving was the slop in the cable from being let out to inhook it from the bars. seems when i adjust it it doesn't want to move anymore.

I don't understand how gas can get into the primary drive case, but if you drained it (the primary case) and the primary fluid smelled like gas I guess maybe it did.

When you took 'it' off the bike 'to check everything out' are you saying that you removed the clutch hub and dis-assembled it5 to examine the clutch plates & friction plates?
Is that what 'seemed good'?

noe the side plate on the transmission i have the primary and inner primary off now the seal went bad with the gas that went into the motor and it allowed the gas to get into the primary. i have the clutch hub off now and i am going to take it apart and see if the plates are stuck together thinking maybe the gas ate thru the oil causing them to stick together

It sounds like you're on the right track. You'll have it figured out in no time at all.
