I know another gasmileage ?, sorry. I am new to the Dyna world, just got a 2002 wide glide with stage 1 done to it. On my 2002 sportster 1200s that I had I would average 45 in city, I am getting 31 on the Dyna. That only 130 miles until I hit reserve. I seen I alot of threads where people saying they can go 180 before reserve. I found 130 low. And it is normal riding not getting on it hard at all. Thanks for help in advance
I get about 100-120 miles on the Ca. version of the FXDWG before I hit the red on the guage. 2011 so I dont have a reserve. I've also never had the fuel light turn on. I usually get gas around 120 miles or so. Dont really want to push the limit just yet althought I suppose I should just to make sure the light works.
My 2010 FXDWG with pipes-a/c-tuner I run 160 miles out of tank and it takes 3.5 gallons to fill = 45.5 MPG (think the tank is 4.5 gallons) Probably could push another 20 miles to 180 miles per tank.
I pay no attention to the gauge or light, it used to have me filling up with like 1.5 gallons or more left!! I now have a tank lift so my gauge is off.
I have a 2002 Wide Glide with Python Pipes and a K&N air cleaner with a rejet. I typically will get 38 mpg or so two up with a T Bag, or as high as 45 mpg solo highway.
Last weekend I actually ran her down to reserve and had 172 miles on the tank. Added 3.9 gallons to fill her back up - so about 44 mpg - mostly two up riding.
What you're getting seems a little low unless you're doing all in town riding or a lot of heavy acceleration.
07 Superglide. Opened the baffle plate a little in stock pipes and K&N stock filter replacement. Just took a 160 mile trip in the country in VA on Saturday with occational stops along the way. Got exactly 50 mpg.
