Default Replacement Dash

Just wondering if there is a dash out there that has the idiot lights in it, that would replace the stock one that I have on my 2002 FXDL.

Default Replacement Dash

I don't know if they make one for that year/model but KlockWerks has a ignition relocation kit that comes with a solid dash. I put it on my '09 FLSTSB but it didn't fit (though their catalog said it fit all Softails '02-'09) so had to do some jig work on it (have the Cats Eye idiot lights and reposition the mounting post. Might work for you but you have two huge gauges on yours so might not be worth the trouble.

Most people just drill the stock dash and put in LEDs. They also have button head bolts with LEDs in them that will replace your stock dash mount screws. You could do something like 2 green button head LEDs for turn sigs, a red led for oil, another green for N, and a blue one for High beam, so you would only need to tap 3 holes.

Call me crazy, but I like the stock headlight on my FXDX, and when I swapped to the FXDL tank and dash, I also picked up an FXDL light console and put it in my stock headlight visor.

Ive been trying to think of a way to do the same thing with my 02 LR, for a momth now, I havent come up with a solution yet. The headlight brow is ok, but I would still like to see it gone and my headlight mounted by itself on the lower tree.

Default Dash

If you want to keep the ignition in the stock place, how about a stock street bob dash. If you want to move it you can use an 11 wide glide dash. Didn't see the year of your LR..I don't know that a street bob dash will fit for sure.
