Looking at a couple Super Glides in the 06-07 range- If anyone has any info I sure would be grateful for any Issues or info. I have a line n a nearly new 35th Anniversary SG w 2700mi I worry about all the down time and the few starts it got weren't often enough for avoiding dry starts.
I know[?] 06 was first yeat for 6 speed-any problems ?
Do you thing a 35th anniversary is worth much more than a regular 06-07 ?
I fell for SG's in 71 and have my 79 now and will NEVER part but for the long haul she is getting old. Thanks for any input you can provide.

I would not worry about the low miles.
Somebody'll chime in about the stator issue on the 06's, but that can be fixed easily. I'm a big, longtime fan of Superglides like you. The white 35th is a sharp bike, I wish I owned one. You should post more, larger pictures of your 79.
'06 had stator issues and inner primary bearing problems. If you can turn a wrench you can fix both of these for less than $100 before they give you problems.

Where is that thread? New parts would cost more than $100, no? Hope I'm wrong.
If you find an '06 with a 95" upgrade and the stator/IPB issues already fixed, I'd get it over an '07 with a stock 96".
