Rear Fender FXDWG compatable swap options
I am thinking on getting a different style rear fender for my 99 WG
I need to know if anyone has changed out that year of fender and what you used. Was there much of a fitment issue?
also some pics would be appreciated
I thought I would like the turned up fender when I bought the bike but it just isn't doing it for me

I feel the same way about my 06 wide glide. I just don't care for the rear fender. HD makes a rounded fender but it's $350.00.
You could get a super glide fender and make it fit but I think the struts are shorter, so I think you need the fender and struts,tail light, etc.
I cut my tag bracket off the rear fender and made a side tag bracket. It makes it look better.
BTW, another idea is to wollow out the holes and angle your fender up.
