2010 dyna stock map too lean!
So after having problems with my after market slip on mufflers on my 2010 dyna wide glide, I decided to put the stock mufflers back on and loaded the stock map back into the ECM. The only thing that I didn't put back to stock was a K&N air filter in the stock air filter canister. After letting it run for about 5 minutes the top of the header pipes were turning orange, way too lean. Any body else ever notice this?

Wow your name is bikebuilderdude? Put the slip-on mufflers back on the bike. Get a harley stage on air-cleaner kit. Get a harley race tuner. Install those and get the bike dyno-tuned. No more orange pipes.

Thanks, but I've already set it richer with a TTS Mastertune and yes "No more orange pipes" . I was just letting people know how lean Harley is setting these bikes and asking if anyone else has notice the hot pipe condition.

Considering a well tuned bike will see pipes running over 500 degrees, orange hot pipes are not out of line.
