Looks great the way it is. Am I missing something, how in the world did you bend your rims?
I was riding to work last Friday night and there was a 4X4 block of wood in the left lane of the interstate. I hit it dead on. Was bounced off the seat and dangling by the handlebars only. Needless to say I barely saved it. When I came back down my feet hit the asphalt.
Wow!!!! I'll bet that got your heart racing. Glad you're ok, bet you're also in the market for a new of gruns.
Your not the first person to say that. It defiantly scared the heck out of me.
A friend and I were riding years ago down the hwy and a big dog ran out in front of him. He hit it and bounced off the seat a little but when I hit the block of wood the front wheel barely came off the ground. When the rear wheel hit the block it catapulted me off the seat. I was near upside down hanging by the bars. I put the Burly lowering kit on just 30min before my ride to work and had the rear shocks at their firmest setting. It rode like a hard tail.
Hard rear suspension and object in road equals back end bouncing up high in the air. Lesson learned.
BTW, I wish I had a video of the incident to see again and show to you guys.
Los11, Your bike is bad ***! I have been watching the build. Looks fast sitting still.
After I complete the look I'm going for I hope to start on my engine. My dream is close to 100hp.
