A car, what's a car :P I have a scooter to go to work and my bike for longer rides and weekend trips. When I really need a car a friend or my parents can lend me one so no problem there
I'm not getting rid of my truck. Need it for towing boats, utility trailer, dump runs, winter driving. Definitely using it a lot less. Probably won't replace my 03 Chevy long bed,reg cab work truck until about 2018. Rather have a Harley and a Mastercraft ski boat than a new truck. So I'm not white trash, just look like it in my truck. Not that that's a bad thing.
I'm doing the same. Has more to do with the loss of a job, but still going down to one two-wheeled vehicle.
Sorry for the loss of job. One of my biggest reasons for doing this is the extra savings. Would be a major help not having that payment if something ever happened to mine or my wifes job.
I just dont see the value of paying $404 a month for something i dont use....
Im thinking of doing the same, but id have to commit to riding the bike more. My truck sits becuase i dont like paying 100 bux a tank of gas for 3 days of driving to work.. I either use my wifes scion xb or ride....
i only drive my truck to haul junk and tow my boat.sometimes it doesnt move for a month at a time..if it wasnt for towing,i would of sold my truck a while ago.we have a minivan and a grandmarquis that only get moved monthly also..i plan to sell the merc to get a jeep sometime???

Smart thinking. Mine's about paid off, but it's just a big hunk of cash sitting in the driveway as it depreciates. I may buy another at some point if it fits my needs.
