My ride came with the 180 installed but from where was stated in the forum is that there is a bracket that holds the wires out of the way under the fender.
As for the size wheels you need/want, I can't answer that.
If you are going to spend the money on a wheel set then dump the 17 x 4.5 rear for a 18 x 5.5 rear and run a 180 of your choice. (Metzler, Avon, or Dunlop). When you get a wheel with a hub that is centered correctly there is no need for any wide tire kit. We have already installed 200 tires on '06 and '07 Dynas, although we recommend a 180 for a true bolt in.
i was searching today for unrelated dyna and happened to come across this and saved the pic what is included in 180 tire kit.wam wondering if the 06 stock straps look similiar to them.i had the rear signals moved before taking delivery and havent looked close enough to see if i have them straps or maybe there was no straps before relocation? just wondering is all because Id like to go 180 myself.some say you dont even need the kit? I do happen to see 2 nuts on rear of straps that dont really look like theyd be a problem but who knows
