Default Overfilled oil? Extractor gun works nice!

It happens. You think you need oil, and then you find out it is 8 oz. overfilled. And, the oil is blazing hot when you do find it out. An extractor gun gets it out quick, no mess, and no burnt fingers! I never saw one until a few days ago, but I am planning to get one.

The tech at the dealer had one made by MAC tools. But my bud say Sears has one. In the old days you needed them to get the diff. fluid out of cars.

Why don't you just drain it? Buying a tool for something that you may never do is overkill.

Draining always makes a mess. Seems like it is hard to get a trickle. Niagara Falls or nothing. Tool is damn handy. I got plenty tools I only use once in a while.

I got one from advance auto parts for 14 bucks and some change works on all engine fluids and also works as an air pump.

Turkey baster? Clever. Would't think it would have enough draw to siphon oil. Cool.

Here is what I used, its like a big syringe, you can draw up to 2oz at a time. Worked great. Then I discovered another use for it. I use it to bleed my brake lines. The tube fits perfectly over over the bleeder valve. I can bleed my brake lines in minutes.
