Hmmm...Just looked at the Ness website and that is true, so I have no idea what filter that is, perhaps it is not a filter meant for HD's, either way, contact Jamie and get the correct filter.

Thanks for your help buddy, I have emailed Jamie and will talk to him this morning. The filter must be from some other source, bad luck for me. I have already cut the ham cam, thank god I have a TC88 ham can kicking around, I can still ride lol.

128Auto, have you tried rotating the filter until the holes line up?
{EDIT} scratch that. with the differences in center to center, I'd contact FM about it. Possible they sent you the wrong kit?

Of course man, but over 1" apart holes ain't gonna work.
I had a similar problem but then i rotated and got them to match up. but i think everyone is right, you got the wrong filter for yours. I bought the BSII. i wanted the bigger filter

Have you check the distance between the breather holes on that backing plate and compared to the bike? Only that looks a bit narrow to me, like its the backing plate for a Sporty rather than a BT.

Fixed! I phoned Jamie and they figure out the plate is right but the filter is for touring model, different mounting holes, they will ship one today. THUMB UP! Fuelmoto is such a great company do deal with.
