Default sissybars connected to swingarm?

Saw pics of sissybars connected to the swingarm but how does this work on dynas since we have side shocks? How is it connected to the rear fender? see attached pic.

It's attached to the swingarm and not the fender from the looks of it which means is would move with the swingarm.

The fender also has to be attached to the swing arm and not the struts.

yea i`d say it can`t be mounted to the fender but i love the looks of that bike

Sorry about the picture being sideways. Posting from my phone. The front of the fender is attached in the passenger peg mounting wholes.

Be aware that this fender has broken twice from vibrations. The weld at the sissy bar/fender and the sissy bar itself right above the weld.

The fender/sissy bar are both attached to swing arm. No fender struts.
