Glad you got it sorted out with the ball foot chuck.
I have several stations that only have the 180 degree air hose etc...
Let me assure you that it is very possible to get air in that back tire without a ball chuck.
All you have to do is make sure your nozzle is accessible, approach from the right side of bike, curve the hose in a U shape and hold the hose on tight while inflating. It is a small pain, but if you find yourself needing air while at a station out in the middle of nowhere on a long ride you should be able to do it.
