cruising it's fine but when you get on it in say 5th at 65mph it acts like it starving for gas. When you take off and really get on it in 1st and 2nd gear, it cuts right out. Take off normal and go through the gears it runs fine
Tried diff plug wires, the plugs look fine, light tan as they should be, gap is within specs. Just hit 3000 miles.
Also it's setting a code P1353 (front cyl no combustion), but it clears after running 7 seconds.
Anyone had this? Will be calling dealer for a check out
Your plug wires don't look stock in your picture. I never chance anything aftermarket in my ECU controlled ignition.........
Those are HD SE plug wires for my bike the from HD P&A catalog. But i tried the stock wires to eliminate the chance it was them, same problem, so not the wires.
It's pretty easy to get on the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd gear (especially 2nd). The TC88 makes pretty good power well past the upper limit. I think it's around 5800 RPM.
Keith,
Sounds like a Dealer issue......... Just my opinion, but sounds like an injector or ECM issue.
BTW, you don't think you got some crappy gas, do ya??
Sounds like you beat on the bike a little bit. Maybe the dealer can help you. Just remember if your a born again christian, the public will think all Born again Christian bikers are wild.
