Progressive shock ?

I put new progressive shocks on a nighthawk a few years ago and the ride was definitely better than the showa's that were on it. The Showa's were shot so it's not a fair comparison.
You'll probably be happy with progressive shocks if you get the right spring rate for you and the bike. At least get some preload adjusters so you can tune it a bit.

I am considering the same upgrade to my wideglide. I live in Phila and ride alot in South jersey, im about 195 lbs the wife is around 130lbs. And the stock shock kill by back that is already bad enough!!! So i am very interested in this thread!!!

A guy is talking about $200 shocks and you tell him about the $800 ones. Why not tell a person shopping for a Toyota that a BMW would be a 1000 times better ride?
