Thanks I agree after being educated I am going to be disassembling the connectors. I have not check out the vid yet but I am going to right now.

Remember, cutting and splicing creates a new possible point of failure. I would only cut/splice in situations that absolutely call for it.

Here is one way to disassmble the connectors, that worked for me:

Congrats and welcome. Just remember to take you time and if you get frustrated step back and try again later. The manual will help and if you get stuck just come on here, start a thread and ask.

Hey thanks!!! I went to the stealership this afternoon and figures they did not have any service manuals for my bike, how does that work you think they would have tons on hand damn it. Oh well I guess giving it a go without the manual cause its a long weekend and I have time to get it done. Anyone know the torque specs on the tank bolts and riser bolts? At least maybe I can get those correct haha. Once the general concenus on the tank remove? Or can ya just lift up the front I wish that conector wire was not under the backbone of the frame and I would be golden to just lift the front of the tank up.

Good news I was able to pull out the connectors by removeing the the plastic peice in the frame backbone and simply fishing the wires out did not even need to loosen the tank bolts at all. Exposed all the wires and such last night going to tackle the rest of the job this morning, so far so good.

Well guess you don't need the torque specs now.

Usually you have to order the manual from them.

I like the way the look alot and they are really confortable for riding, I am a short guy at only a crazy tall 5'5" so they are actually great i could see for a tall guy they may be weird. I will try and get some better pics soon but wanted to get some up for the time being. In these pics they look a bit high but in reality they are not at all and look better in person.
