Default thunderheader cut up

Anyone in LA know how to cut and shape a thunderheader from a softtail to a dyna. I have a dyna bracket.

If it were me, I would modify the bracket or make a new one, why cut the pipe?

Is the pipe its self different. Or just the mounting tab?

My softail TH didn't come with a mounting bracket so I made one. I made it out of scraps I had in the shop, it's bolted to the trans. the same way my old V&H mount was. I bolted one piece of steel to the trans and another to the mount location of the pipe. Then I tack welded various pieces together in place until everything was connected (if that even makes sense).

Hey hogrida
Did you twist the bar to get it to the cone? I was thinking of cuting and rewelding

It's not twisted but it is at an angle. If you have access to a welder you should be able to cut and weld and get something to work.

Done 3 different ones now. One just cut, shortened, and kicked the muffler ans 2 of them we reworked the forward part of the pipes for more clearance.
