Installed my 2" lift on Friday night. Not sure it changed entire look, but definitely nice to see the front head Was a bit more of a pain to install then led to believe, but just a pain; not difficult. Absolutely had to install longer hose on '07 fatboy; used nice stainless clamps, those included were really cheap looking. Depending how much fuel gauge changes, may be a pricey mod, but I would do it again. Kury LED fuel gauge is a little modern for my tastes, but you can calibrate; will use if gauge is way off.
Did the tank lift on my WG and love it, Engine looks great, and should run a little cooler I would think...
But another good thing is, it brought my dash panel / speedo up to an angle thats much easier to see especially when sunny and theres a glare.
Your bike looks really good. Can't tell if it is the tank lift and angle, or did you extend your fork? I'm looking at extending my fork 2" over, but can't find much feedback on the forums. If you extended, how much and how do you like it? Thanks, Kevin.
Looks great man, as always. I think the tank lifts look good on every bike ive seen. The space between the front head and the bottom og the tank, the look of the tank as youre looking down on it from the saddle, the front profile of the bike, and as you said for $30 how can ya not like it??
KEVMIAMI......Forks are stock. removed front fender, added 7" fatboyhead light. I custom made a bracket for the head light, so it would sit higher and out further than my visored superglide light. Now with the tank lifted and higher headlight....minus the fender, gives the forks a little longer look.
