Fatbob long distance????
I do find my right foot doesnt quite get into a comfortable position because the brake lever is in the way. I will try and adjust the position of the lever when I get a spare minute.
First off I wasn't used to feet forward and up riding . It was a bit of a grind and I was using every position I could think of for my feet. When running 65+, and frequently 80mph, for any amount of time I'd have to do some of the following.... lean forward, grab fork tubes grab risers, sit forward sit back hook my feet under shifter/brake etc etc. While in Daytona I picked up a 16" Windvest screen and it made the return trip much more comfortable.... plus the ride down had gotten me in some sort of shape (-:. With the Windvest I can sit there at 75 all day long and never have to lean forward grabbing whatever. Stillhave the issue of feet out in the wind like a sail trying to blow them off of pegs and find myself with them on the rear pegs within 30 minutes then start shifting them back and forth but I'm old and stiff anyways
Never had any real issue with the seat... seems like a Barcalounger compared to my dirtbikes or Ducati and not as good as my KTM Austrian Adventure bike.
Luggage... Currently just have a tankbag and a fanny pack that will carry enough stuff for a weekend or indefinitly if you wash a few items in the evenings?? I'll be adding some detachable bags and if I can find something I like (not to bulky) a backrest/rack so I could carry a pack on the seat.
My trip coming back was done in 4 meandering days of 1500 miles, 300-400 miles per day, and that seemed about right for enjoying "The Ride"
Don't know about passenger comfort as haven't had that pleasure.... my ideal gal would be happy with the stocker but most of the ones I'm finding look like they would start the whining crap if they had to do more than 20 miles on something less than a double bucket
