Memphis shades mounted on fatbob???

Memphis shades mounted on fatbob???

I mounted a set of memphis shades lowers on my fatbob. They are mounted just below my QD HD windshield and are above my lower tree. I would like them lower, can I mount them just below the lower tree? They will take up about 1.25in . How much do the forks travel at max travel? Mike

I would be reluctant to go below the Trip the front end can really dip on a full on stop my Memphis windscreen with the normal mounts seemed to be fine on my sold 95 flstn .

Well I went for a short 40 mile run this evening with the new memphis shades lowers on and the buffeting was almost non- existant. With the HD q-detach windshield the buffeting was real harsh. If you put your hand at the front of the tank you could feel a rush of air comming up. Now it is "almost" dead still behind the shield. Would recommend this, for about $80.00 I am real pleased. Mike

I would also be interested in some pictures, or part numbers, of what you have used. I've been throwing the idea around of getting some for my long ride in a few weeks
