Default Dyna for Life

In the past, every time I visited a HD dealer I was always checking out all the other models. Just sitting on them in the showrooms none of them felt or fit me as well as my FXDC.

I am done looking, going to keep my Dyna and dress it out. I just installed new grips and the taillight/brake light kit.

In the last couple of days I have ordered a few more goodies.

HD Engine Guard
Kuryacyn Large Highway Pegs
Rear Turn signal relocation kit
Saddlemen hard mount tear drop bags

They are all supposed to be here next week. I will be a little busy for a few days getting everything installed on the bike.

Told my wife what I had ordered and why and she was elated to hear I had gotten the bug to spend big bucks to trade up out of my mind and doesn’t care what I spend on my current bike.

Woooopeeee!

All is well she is happy and I love my Dyna.

I had an 07 street Glide, but it handled rather poorly to me. It was the older frame though. Mirrors were kinda cool to look at but not to look with. With the lower rear suspension, in turns, the floor boards scraped sooner than an Electra Glide or Road Glide, both of which I have ridden.

I traded an 08 RG for an 11 Dyna Super Custom, and am happy with the change...

Keep the FB, or wait and look at the new Switchback, a Dyna based tourer with a 103ci engine coming out the end of this month.

Just looking to help keep you in good with your wife...dd50

Nice well wish I could get the West Coast Chopper bug out of my head ****! When you see a CFL master piece like this you can't sleep at night. My Dyna would be gone in a 1/2 sec for this bike let alone any of Jesse's bikes. Are those stock H-D foot pegs??? Sure look like it to me!!

See it here

So that's how to get the wife to agree to spend money on upgrades? Cool! I'll have to try that!

Forgot to mention another small factor that may have helped get my wife to agree to me purchasing parts for my Dyna.

Yesterday we traded her 2008 Dodge Caliber for a new Impala LTZ. That may have helped just a little.

But, I can sure use that trade as an excuse to buy "more parts" for quite awhile and I also get to drive the Impala.

That was a win/win deal. Now all I have to do is make the payments on the Impala.

Best part is that you still have your Dyna, new toys on the way, and saved a lot of money over getting a new one. Other than the Impala payments that is. lol
