I put the Kuryakyn 3" extensions on mine, I'm 6'4" with a 36" inseam. Works great.

On a long road trip I put my heels over the pegs to stretch out a little more.

See sig pic.

6'3" here with 2" extended forwards, 14" apes and a badlander and no issues. Like joe said above, my heels sit nicely on the pegs when I stretch my legs out.

If you buy a bagger you can get highway pegs on the crash bar which look comfy from what I've seen with my mates.

I think I'm the outcast of the tall group, I am 6'3" and I use mid controls. If I ride for a long time I have pain in my left hip, but that usually doesn't happen because if I'm on a long ride i have the feet on the highway pegs.

Awesome thanks guys! Extensions are deff in the plans now. Not sure if boredome was the word more like frustration! I think the bars are perfect my arms are straight and comfy. Seat is new and feels great so the extensions I think are the trick. Anyone know of any super cheap ones?

I know Jesse James is tall and he seems to like his mids too. Has said they offer more control in aggressive riding. But I need to stretch out. I had seen some on eBay about 70 bucks that's cheap. Just need the plates and rods.

Mids, as any motorcycle racer will tell you, will give you better control, as will low bars over apes. However, mids on a low seated cruiser can be cramping, so for this trade-off I chose to go with 3" extended controls. I had to give up the knee dragging, peg weighting, cornering ability afforded by better weight distribution, but I quickly learned my limits.

If you really need to stretch out, unless you raise your seat about a foot, you need forward controls and pegs.

I got the Kury 3" extended controls, then to get my feet closer to center for cornering, I put some adjustable floorboards on them. Now I can move my feet back a ways to better weight the front end for cornering.

When highway cruising I'm stretched out and have the floorboards deflecting the wind from the soles of my shoes, I don't have to consciously fight the wind forces just to keep my feet in place like I did with pegs or pegs with stirrups, especially when I wick the throttle past 80 or so. At 90 plus my feet were getting way light on the pegs and blowing off. The 'boards solved it. Even if I take my feet off the 'boards and they blow back, my feet have a much larger target to hit to to get back on.

The bike is made to fit the average which is about 6 foot. If your tall or short your gonna have to make some changes. I'm 6'6" I've got a badlander and 3" extensions on a street bob.
Gotta say even when it was uncomfortable I still never found it boring, maybe you should sell it.
