I'm 6'3" and don't have any problem on my Dyna.... not room wise anyhow.
You say it's your first motorcycle/harley and your tired after 1500 miles...
Sounds like what you were hoping for was some midlife miracle where loose women start throwing theirselves on you and your Harley..... and you didn't realize that riding a motrcycle is not as comfortable and riding in your SUV or sitting in the golf cart.
My suggestion is to either man-up or take up knitting or some other such sissified activitiy
I'm 27 buddy, married and love life so you might want to think twice before you ASSume sh't like midlife crisis. No SUV or mini van Or golf cart here either. Not tired more bored of it. Yep first bike. I was not going to waste time or money on anything else but a Harley as I don't like anyother bikes enough to even buy one. I have had everyother toy but a Harley and yeah they look cool and sound cool but the honey moon died fast BUT I have a feeling that's do to the cramped up feeling on the bike. Maybe the wide glide is not for me. It was an impulse buy. Got a killer deal on it and knew I could sell it for more. Also have a '93 sporty but got that right before the WG so it was never rode but a few miles. That will be sold tonight actually. Maybe you should find a new hobby Internet tough guy is not working out for you.
Give some extended forwards a try. I am 6', but have a 7' wingspan and long legs. My bike works great with those combined with my 12" apes. My arms are level and straight out and my legs are comfortable.
I could ride just about anything and love it though. I ride my friends rocket, night rod, hybrid, and Buell's and still love it. It sounds like you are more of a casual rider. I love every aspect of riding on two wheels, and you could throw me on anything to do it.
Yep I will. My 12" apes are perfect too. I will get the extensions. I would not mind trying a rocket and so on. I just would never own one. Thanks again guys for the extension idea. I had heard of them but it's good to know they really make a difference.

Yeah lucky for me, my best friend owns one, and I keep it in my garage. So I can take it whenever I want. The night rod used to be too, but it got sold. It was neat to have options, but I still rode my Dyna 9 times out of 10. All bikes are fun in there own ways in my opinion. I could only ride my Dyna every day though.
Well man, its gonna be what works for you, but for me; I am 6'2" 255lbs. I always put apes on my bikes and put Lapera Bare Bones Seats on. I use normal foward controls, with seat and apes it puts me right where I wanna be with alittle bend in my knees for lifting on bad bumps. The apes on the fatty are 16in with 2in risers
i'm 6'3" and feel very comfortable with my setup:
2006 wide glide
3" extended forwards
16" 1.25" apes on 3" risers
corbin classic seat
3" tank lift
IMO this is the perfect setup for us big guys. The tank lift is cheap and helps the look of the bike as well as give your knees more room avoiding that bear on a tricycle look.
Fallen that fatty looks awesome!
And WG I was thinking of a tank lift too so my knees are not so high on the tank like you had said. But I can't seem to find kits for my '95 WG. Could just make one too I guess. Nice looking bikes guys Thanks for the info!

Hell, I got my latest bike in hopes that the loose women would stop throwing themselves at me. That didn't work, either. Oh the dreariness of life.
I'm a short guy, and the stock forwards are perfectly comfy for me around town, but I did install mid-pegs so I can move my feet around a bit when I want. They're nice on the highway, and I can put my heels on my mids with the ***** of my feet on the back of my Kuryakyn mini-board-sorta things (Iso-wings). I also have plenty of room to move my feet around on those Iso Wings, and the wind doesn't turn my boot-soles into sails as with the pegs out front.
I'm 6'7" with a 38" inseam and the 3" extensions work great for me on my FatBob. I have had them for almost 3 years and just love them along with my pegs with heelrests. Might have to check into that C&C Seat, though. Any more room is always a plus.
