So I have been constantly debating between the Bub Raw-1 and the D&D Fatcat, as well as the Kerker Supermegs for awhile.
Which one did I choose?
None of the above! LOL I ended up going with the Bassani Road Rage II Mega Power Exhaust, and got an awesome deal from Dr. Vtwin, placing my order with him in the morning.
The Raw-1 now has a higher price and a 6-8 week minimum waiting period, and I just can't come to like the way the fatcat looks. I had not seen the Road Rage II until today and I love it! Can't wait to get this bad boy delivered and installed.
Awesome pipe. Which one did you get, black or chrome, long or short can. Pics!
I'll get pics up as soon as I get it installed, haven't even technically ordered it yet. I went with the Road Rage Series II Mega Power in Black with Black Shields, not the B1. I called and talked to Bassani today and was told the B1 was for really large engine builds. Here is a pic of the pipe on a Street Bob, kind of gives an idea. Does not have the ground clearance of the raw-1 but I like overall look of it much more.
Sweet! Can't wait to see your pics and hear your thoughts when you git 'r dun. I'm currently running that Rinehart 2-1 on my 98 Dyna and they don't make it anymore. Now I'm in the market for a new pipe. I've been leaning towards the Bub 7 2-1 mainly for the ground clearance.

The Bub 7 2-1 will give you the clearance and the sound! After my engine build I had to buy some quiet baffles for it. At stage 1 they sounded great, but the stage 4 made them waaaay too loud. Great pipes though. I know of others that are getting some impressive HP/Torque numbers with them.
By the way, I bought my Bubs last August from Dennis Kirk for $192 to my door! A phenomenal deal that was repeated later in the fall. That was a no-brainer for me.

Yeah, the 7 2-1 is a sweet pipe from what I hear, but Chrome only

That looks awesome . Kind of like Bassani's version of a Thunderheader .
If I had been able to come up with the money the bassani series II 2 into 1's are a great pipe. Bassanis perform well. Enjoy your new pipes. post pics when you can.
