Default 2-up seat installation...easy question

I'm switching from my stock street bob solo seat to a two up seat. How do I bolt the 2-up to the fender? There is a nut built into the fender for the solo but the hole I put the bolt into for the 2-up has no nut. Can I somehow pull the nut from the solo and use it in the hole for the 2-up? Or do I have to order one from the stealer? Thanks alot.

There is a clip holding the nut on you take it off and move the nut to the back hole and put the clip back on.

Little tip, to get the captive into the rear fender slot it has to be fed up from underneath.

Easiest way is to run a cable tie through it and use that to pull it up and into the hole so you can clip the circlip on.

Is it easy to take off the clip thats holding the nut on? I don't want to break it...i have a knack for breaking the plastic pieces on the bike....

Might not be a bad idea to have the retention nut, plastic washer and screw for the rear fender hole. Retention nut is soft brass and washer is plastic....I keep a couple in my spare parts drawer, I switch solo two two up a lot. Retention nut Part #7488, plastic washer part #7489A, screw part #2952A. I think 5 bucks or so for those parts.
