I think it's going to be an outrageous price to pay for what look like such small bags. I'd go the way Joe did with some older stock Harley bags if I wanted to make something detachable.
You could just get a rollbag / sissybar bag that would hold as much as those Switchback bags.
I do like the looks of the Switchback, but think they should have gone a little bigger on the bags. I saw them in person and was not too sure you could hold much in them.
I love my Corbin bags, they are not cheap, and they are not thin, and they hold a ton of stuff.
They are not detachable, but I have decided that it is nice to have room for everything my girl is going to take. I don't care about the stripped down look anymore so it is not an issue for me.
They are avail, I already asked my local CT dealer and they can get the rails, hardware and bags, and fender if I want.
He was going to work up a price, however I stopped him.
I just cant right now and if he gave me a price I would have been ready to order, so I'll hold off till I have more cash.
But the parts are avail.
I thought about getting just the mounting brackets for my Fatbob because I already have some hard bags but it has a lower mount on the bottom of the fender which I do not have on the bobtail. So I would have to beef it up to support it somehow. That fender is too narrow for my Fatbob but the strut mount bolts do line up.
