If you brought it in with the problem, wouldn't they think it was a little odd that you wouldn't mention that all those lights were on? Last month I picked up my bike from the dealer, rode 100 feet and saw the security light on. Turned right around and showed it to them. Guy says "Was is like that when you dropped it off?". I said I think I would have told you about it, and I hope that you would see it yourself. Duh.

The wire on the back of the aircleaner has nothing to do with it. It's part of the standard harness that includes an activator for international bikes.

If the tech did not write it up and the Service Dept. did not call you before they started work on it, they own the problem!

+1 with dynabobster. The service writer didn't see no oddities with the lights, the tehs didn't see any oddities till after they did the work. They need to fix their problem.

Exactly what has been stated already. If they did not write it up before they worked on your bike, it is their problem to fix. End of story. Tell them the Courts have set that precedent many times before. You need to put a call into Corporate ASAP. Guarantee they will change their tune immediately.

Sounds like some great mods but the dealer sounds very screwy.

Default Bulbs.

The wrong friggin bulbs. 1156 bulbs were placed in the rear turn signals, ( they came with the smoked lenses, should have been 1157s) and were apparently the culprit to all the problems. Picked up the bike, rode it, turned it off, rode it, turned it off...... no problems, LOVE the pipes, AAAhhhhhh...
