I just ordered a set of bars for my bike and need help figuring out which cable lengths to get. I could wait until they arrive and measure but was wondering if anyone has mounted these and what they used. Wanted to get all the parts ahead of time. I got the 14" 1.5" apes with the High Roller risers. I was thinking to get 8" over stock but that is just a guess. Ill give pics once I get the bars and start the process.
I've putted 12" with 2" risers on my fxdwg 2010. I didnt have to change the clutch neither the brake line , just rerouted them.
As for the Idle 41.75" and throttle 42"
I ordered a clutch cable that ended up being too long 72.81"
OK, i have the 16" gangsters, on highroller risers, about 1" to 1.5" added to hight, i put +13" cables and brake line, I could have gotten away with 2" less on the clutch cable, but the throttle cables and brake line fit perfectly.
So +10" should work great for your ride and those bars, as long as your using short risers and not the stock 4" risers.
Nice, looks like we will have similar setups but I got the 14" version. How do you like them on the WG? Have any pics from the side? I was concerned with the 41" E-E measurment vs the stock setup. I know I would like to be farther apart then stock but these will be 10" wider. How do you like em. I also didnt want to get above the shoulder so I went with the 14". How tall are you and do you like the postition. Sorry for all the questions but I have only had bull bars or drag bars on my bike.
