I've called HD....j&p...dennis kirk.....here's what I have... I have a 07 nighty...I have the mini apes....I have 4in risers.... I can't find the cables that I need...I get different story's from everyone...I guess I need help.....before I'll need an intervention....bars and risers are just sitting waiting for the right stuff.....I need a real answer not all the "let me see.....nope.......well we have the platinum this and the super duper that".... I want black......black....black.....I can't even get an answer on the exact lengths I need....these are the pros....right????? Sorry for the rant....I just want to get these done by spring....
Here's what ya do (same as I did last winter), put your bars and risers on, take some thin plastic tubing, rope or cord) and measure outalongthe path you want them to take. For my mini apes and 3" risers it worked out to roughly +6" over stock. With your measurements in hand look up appropriate lengths in your catalog or online and order them. It really is simple just time consumming mocking up and looking up the cables. Don't pay any attention to what model sporty the description states its for just be sure to get the right fittings for your brake line and the degree bend you want (130 or 90) on your throttle/idle cables. By the way, I wanted black braided but a year ago when I did my bars I could only find the brake line in black (I think they're all available in black now) so I at teh time I just went with SS braided.
I've got a 59" clutch cable (could go a little longer and route through the trees), a 44" brake line (plenty long enough) with 10MM banjo bolts/fittings) and 38" throttle/idle cables. I'm using a drag spec. clutch cable which sucks and turns color fast), russel brake line and barnett throttle cables.
are mini apes 10" or 12? i had some Z top bars from licks cycle that are like 10apes and i used all my stock cables and brake line, i did have to entend the wireing though, i also have a front break line, throttle and clutch cables in stainless that worked great on 16" apes with the stock riser

Minis are generally about 10" up to top bend from the bottom(more like 8" at grip end).
No Hear's What You Do. Go to your local INDY shop tell them what you need and have them call Barnett cable and have they build them for you.
All you have to do is get out your tape measure and measure your bike andgive them the dimensions you want. They will custom make them for you, it take sabout 3 weeks but you end up with perfect length cables not some out of the box things that just KINDA fit.
