im still a lil undecided, HD ,in some part, is defined by its class of bike Dyna, Sportster, Softies, baggers, trikers. The switchback, being a dyna , with Softtail aesthetics...makes ya wonder where HD is going as far as their line of bikes are concerned,. Will they be phasing out, making hybrids, doing away with so many styles and makes...
and leave us with a handful of bikes to choose from.
The bike looks nice, but im looking at tomorrow and what is that gonna bring ..
Congrats. I really wanted one of those. But I got a 2011 Road King for the same out the door price with a few add-ons too boot so I couldn't resist it.

I posted a couple of pics on my profile of some mods on my fld in case you wanted to check it out. I know you were kinda intrigued by the fld but you can never go wrong with a RK. One thing I can say in regard to the FLD is it moves and handles better and better each time I push it a little more.
Stay safe and congrats on the new machine.

after about 700 miles on mine id say its a nice bike....but...i almost wish i would have looked a little harder at a RK...though i have never been a big RK fan...to me for the price if you go that far you might as well go road or stree glide..but my reasons why i say i wish i went RK is only two things..air shocks and the full size bags...the ride on the SB isn't bad it just feels a little hash to me but nothing i can't live with till i change out the shocks...but the bags im stuck with and really wish they were full size off a touring bike...but the up side this thing handles like a ***** and packs a good punch for a stocker...after ridding the SB and then jumping on my dads 07 street glide or brothers 10 street glide you feel the extra weight a lot and the big power gap also...so at the end of the day you have to ask yourself to you want a fast touring bike with smaller bags and firmer shocks or do you want a "real" touring bike...oh also i wish the gas tank was 5 gal and not 4.7 i can only go 145ish miles before the light comes on but when i pull up to the gas station i only ended up putting in 3.7 gals..so where did the extra gallon go??
