I'm with you on that one! That's what I like about my bike, the shield comes off in 2 seconds.

Wind in my face is nice but the deafening blast to my ears I'm not a fan of. Even with ear plugs in its like flying to Germany on a C-5 Cargo plane. Annoying.

Take a look at a new helmet then. My 3/4 Fulmer V2 is nice and quiet with no windshield. On another subject I actually flew a couple thousand miles on a C5 a few years ago and it was much louder than my bike without a lid.

Yep really handy, However when it gets warm enough, my windshield comes off untill cool weather, rainy season, or road trips..

I took mine off too. Probably won't go back on unless I go on a long highway trip. One good thing about a Low Rider though, is that they look good with or without the windshield. That is at least IMHO.
