Got to look at a couple and I like a lot of what they did with it. Cant wait to see one customized some to see how it can look.
The bags are kind of small but they flow good with the bike. I think it fills a need in the Harley lineup and seems like they are selling well already.
Put that on any V-twin and it's going to be noticeable.
I saw a bunch of posts from guys who wanted to trade in their 2009's, 2010's, etc. just to get the 103...proof that Harley knows how to market their stuff.
If I wanted more power, the first thing I would do is a cam swap...not a big bore. Especially if my bike were paid off!
More noticeable on a 103" motor than a 96" motor though; just making the point that the Switchback could be turned into a fairly quick cruiser with a little work.
I have two, '02 107" FLHT and '05 FXSTD; wouldn't trade either of them for any of the late models, including the Switchback.
I just think the Switchback is a unique model in an otherwise pretty boring Dyna lineup and a bit of a throwback to earlier days; the MoCo will sel a ton.
BTW, you would be missing the most cost effective upgrade by passing on the big bore upgrade. Cheapest increase in performance when measured in dollars per foot pound of torque and horsepower. Not only is the performance enhanced just becuase of the addtional displacement but the compression increase alone is a kick; compression = torque.
