Default forward control swap out

I normally hang out in the touring group but figured this would be the best place to pose this question. I have a lady friend with an 08? street bob that has forward controls on it. Her deceased husband, killed in Iraq, had put them on but they are too far forward for her to reach the contols comfortably. Original stock controls are gone. She put a trike kit, training wheels, on it but would like to be able to ride it regular. I haven't seen the bike up close so don't know what brand or other modifications are done, but what parts would be required to return it to stock shifter and brakes? I told her I would do the work but also don't know how involved the job would be, no experience with forward controls. What parts would be needed, approximate cost, any significant dissasembly required, etc. The dealer service guy said about 2 hours so I figure there isn't too much involved. Thanks for the help.

to go back to mid controls, she would most likely need all the controls, and the inner/outer primary cases... on the streetbob the shift shaft runs through the primary... unless somebody makes a kit to get around that...

Primary cover might just have plugs over the holes, that's how mine was. So you should just need a shifter linkage. You could also keep the pegs out forward for some foot rests on the highway in which case you'll need pegs too. I just picked up some stock pegs at a swap meet for a buck a piece. Good luck with the conversion.

Also post on the WTB thread or look on the classifieds, people are always going from mid to forward.
